Our PTA puts on several events throughout the year. Each event wouldn't be possible without the amazing volunteers from our Cross Oaks Elementary community. We will publish sign-ups for every event throughout the year. Check back here or follow us on Facebook to find opportunites to volunteer at PTA events.

Through all the uncertainties of parenting in the digital age, one thing is for sure: Smartphones are here to stay. They've unlocked a wealth of knowledge, entertainment, and convenience. But for our children, smartphones have also introduced a bevy of complications for their development and well-being.
Straight Talk '24: Navigating the Smartphone Era was a livestreamed event, hosted by Texas PTA, featuring top-notch panelists discussing how smartphones are impacting our children's minds, bodies, and classrooms.
Some 500 Texas parents, educators, and community members tuned in on February 12, 2024 to watch at one of 40 PTA-hosted watch parties, and from their homes, cars, and places of work. Find more information at txpta.org/straight-talk.
